I Will Not Be Afraid
Fear.
Fear is something that we have all experienced.
We fear big, real life things like loss of people we love, not meeting certain goals or never feeling accepted. Then we fear some…silly but very valid things…like snakes…spiders…did I mention spiders?
There have been many times in my life that I have been paralyzed by fear. Have you ever been there?
I have three little boys and we recently went to see the David movie as a family. (If you haven’t seen it yet…go!) This movie depicted the very real life story of a young man with a huge, difficult calling on his life. Part of this movie was sharing about when David fought and defeated Goliath. Take a moment and read 1 Samuel 17. Yes…the whole thing!
"And David said, “The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!”” 1 Samuel 17:37
Very big, real life faith when he could have run in fear.

Can you picture me weeping in the movie theatre? I know you can. David sings over and over “I will not be afraid.” Because he knows that whatever he may face in life, whatever giants….God is with him and will deliver him!
Gals— what Goliath are we facing today? What is causing us to feel fear?
Let’s be like David- and face our fears with faith. God is with us. We will not be afraid.
I love you,
Amy
